Family Systems and Structural Mapping

DETAILS
Overview

Speaker: Oliver Drakeford, MA, LMFT, CGP
August 19th, 2022

The Family Systems and Structural Mapping course will guide clinicians through the process of creating a structural map while reviewing the core components of Structural Theory. The group will be shown a brief clip from a popular TV Show which portrays a realistic example of a dysfunctional family system. The conversational exchange in the clip will be the basis of the group creating a ‘Family Map’ as part of an experiential exercise. While each person in the group creates their own Family Map, we will collaborate as various aspects of Structural Family Systems are explained and described.
